  Desjardins Scholarship

One of the many ways Desjardins supports investors and their families in Canada is through its scholarship program. Our Immigrant Investor Scholarship Program is an exclusive fund established expressly for the families of Desjardins immigrant investors. Each year, Desjardins is proud to award valuable scholarships to students at the bachelor, master's and doctorate levels.

Qualifying

To be eligible for a Desjardins scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Have resided in Canada as an immigrant investor, or as the spouse or child of an immigrant investor for less than five years.
  • Pursue their studies on a full-time basis at an university located within the province of Québec.
  • Write a letter describing how they intend to integrate into Quebec society during, and following their education.
  • Complete and submit a scholarship application form to Desjardins.

The Registration Process

Candidates must inform Desjardins which university they hope to attend. All applications for the 2008-2009 Scholarship Program must be submitted before August 29th, 2008. Certain supporting documents are required, including a copy of their permanent resident card, and academic record. A complete list of requirements is included with the application. Recipients will be informed of their status within the scholarship program at the beginning of the fall academic school year.
